The CALS Staff Council counted approximately 400lbs of rice at their meeting on Wednesday, March 11th. The rice which was collected during the month of February from faculty and staff within CALS will be brought to SHOP with a load of plastic grocery sacks and some misc. items. Food insecurity has been a discussion within the Council for a number of months as ideas and work has been done to bring awareness of resources available on campus and within the Ames Community for students and staff.
